 BRAND NEW

SECRET GENIUS

Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd February

9pm | Channel 4

Comedian Alan Carr and lexicographer Susie Dent host Channel 4's brand new series, Secret Genius, as they unearth the hidden potential in ordinary people with extraordinary minds who have never had their raw brainpower recognised.

12 extraordinary minds who may have been overlooked by the school system or their families, and have often gone through life feeling misunderstood and dismissed, compete to become the UK's first Secret Genius.

Over four regional heats, adults of all ages and from all walks of life descend on Genius HQ to take on a series of epic immersive intelligence games based on the challenges that Mensa uses to measure IQ.

The top 12 contestants from the heats earn a place in the finals at Oxford University, where they face even more painfully difficult challenges. Friendships are forged, and confidence blossoms, but only one person can be crowned Britain's first Secret Genius.

The new series stays true to the classic Mock the Week format, featuring iconic rounds such as If This Is the Answer, What Is the Question?, Wheel of News, Picture of the Week and the legendary Scenes We’d Like to See.
