Can Tom get his marriage back on track?
As Yazz struggles with her diagnosis of premature menopause, it’s putting a strain on her marriage. As Misbah tries to help her daughter, Yazz doesn't want to talk about it anymore, feeling like she’s being punished for not wanting children and knowing the choice has been taken away from her walks away.
Planning a surprise special meal for Yazz, Tom is taken aback to learn from a concerned Beau that she’s returned to work. Not knowing how to cope, Yazz lashes out at Carter.
Before long, Yazz admits to Carter that coming back to work might not have been the best idea. But she leaves him with the threat of going to HR upon his unsympathetic response to her struggles.
Realising that Yazz is avoiding Tom, Misbah tells her daughter how he was planning on surprising her with a trip to London. Yazz confronts Tom on how he’s really feeling about her diagnosis and he confesses he’s worried they’ll never be intimate again.
Yazz reassures him but when she discovers they’re not going to London, once again Yazz becomes distant. And when Darren and Beau see a down-in-the-dumps Tom they decide to cheer him up and take him with them for a drink.
While Yazz gets advice on moving forward and trying new things as a couple, Tom receives the recommendation of reminding Yazz of their love and going back through memory lane. When the couple meet up, Tom suggests they renew their vows, but Yazz has the idea of backpacking through Asia.
