Yolande confronts Pastor Clayton over his inappropriate behaviour in EastEnders

Punished for speaking up, where will this leave Yolande?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 1ST APRIL

As Yolande and Denzel continue to butt heads, she's later upset further by Agatha at the community centre.

Back at No.20 Pastor Clayton offers Yolande advice, before Denzel surprises her with a video call from Patrick.

After making amends with Agatha, Yolande is happy and shares a well-received food truck idea with Pastor Clayton. However, the moment is short-lived when Yolande is left frozen in fear from an overly tactile hug from Pastor Clayton.

Rocked by her encounter with Pastor Clayton, Yolande considers ignoring it, but when he puts an unwelcome hand on her leg during their meeting she confronts him on his behaviour, as Pastor Clayton tries to guilt-trip her by terminating their food truck plans.

Later, Denzel and Yolande have a heart-to-heart where he tries to persuade her to stand by her plans.

When Pastor Clayton hands over their charity project to his wife Stella, Yolande is upset and when she challenges him for punishing her for speaking up, he manipulates the situation claiming he feels uncomfortable to be alone with her.

EastEnders continues Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One with first look episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer
