What will Yolande's next move be?

 28 SEPTEMBER - 4 OCTOBER

With Yolande hesitant about taking part in the Harvest Festival celebrations at the Community Centre, Patrick tries to convince her. However, they’re both interrupted by DS Amartey who arrives and reveals that another woman has come forward in the case against Pastor Clayton.

After distracting herself with Amy, Yolande, buoyed by her strength, later heads to the Community Centre, much to the delight of Levi and Agatha.

Things are going well until Stella arrives and asks Yolande to retract her statement against her husband. But Yolande is quick to share some home truths.

At home, Yolande is interrupted by Pastor Clayton who barges in and demands an audience as an oblivious Patrick worries about her with Kim and Howie in The Vic.

As he asks Yolande to change her statement, Pastor Clayton reels when he realises she won’t, and quickly leaves when Denzel arrives and marches him out.

Whilst Patrick, Howie and Kim are shocked to learn of the events, it’s clear that Yolande has found strength by standing up to her attacker and at the end of the evening, Patrick and Yolande make to call it a night, but are interrupted by the police who arrive to reveal that Pastor Clayton has died by suicide.

As Yolande reels at his suicide, the family try to rally round her and after questioning her next move, Yolande is interrupted by Stella, who arrives. And Patrick tries to comfort Yolande.

EastEnders continues Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One with first look episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer
