Zack and Vicki share a kiss as he comforts her in EastEnders

But when Kathy walks in, will Sharon find out?

After hearing that Joel is pleading not guilty, Vicki struggles to cope, but agrees to go to The Vic quiz night to take her mind off things. With Ross also there, relations begin to thaw after they end up on the same team.

At the bar, Vicki is concerned by the behaviour of Chelsea’s date, Damon and later catches him on the phone with his wife and tells the whole pub that he’s a cheat, causing a big scene.

Vicki follows Damon into the laundrette before another row erupts. As Damon approaches her, Vicki pushes him away, and he falls badly, hitting his head. As Damon lies on the floor, Vicki panics and when Zack arrives and he quickly springs into action to protect her.

Later, Zack comforts Vicki when she explains how much Joel’s attack has affected her, and during a heart-to-heart, they kiss just as Kathy walks in! And she's shocked as they insist it was a moment of madness, and Sharon doesn’t need to know.

Determined to get him to plead guilty and spare Vicki going to court, Ross goes to visit Joel before telling Vicki that he’s not giving up on them.

Meanwhile, Zack apologises to Kathy about kissing Vicki when she’s so vulnerable, and she advises him to focus on Barney, who needs his support right now.

Later, when Ross makes a big gesture to remind her of the good times they’ve had together, Vicki is unimpressed.
