Zoe is shocked by Josh's revelation as they finally meet in EastEnders

Can Max convince Cindy to hand back Jasmine’s phone?

 21-27 MARCH

As the Truemans anxiously prepare to welcome Josh and Sandra to No.27, when Josh arrives, it’s clear it’s too much for Patrick, and he retreats to the kitchen alone.

Soon, Josh and Patrick have a heart-to-heart, but the moment is short-lived when Zoe arrives, demanding to see Josh, having learnt about his arrival from Tommy.

As Kim and Denise try to diffuse the situation, Zoe finally leaves after Sandra demands it.

Meanwhile, Lauren spies a flirty reaction between Oscar and Josh and encourages him to get back on the dating scene. After meeting for a drink in The Albert, Oscar and Josh share a passionate kiss.

The next morning, Oscar and Josh wake up together, but unbeknownst to the pair, Sandra has arrived in Walford looking for Josh. And her panic is averted when Josh arrives, but they are interrupted by Zoe on her way to meet struggling Jasmine at the prison.

As Zoe pleads for an audience with Josh, the group heads to The Vic and Kat is overjoyed to meet her grandson. After an emotional talk, Josh agrees to return tomorrow for a meal with the Slaters and the Truemans.

Later, an upset Jasmine calls Kat to ask why Zoe was a no-show for her prison visit, but when she learns the truth, Jasmine asks Kat to relay a message. She’s pleading guilty to Anthony’s murder.

Meanwhile, Lauren and Peter talk to Oscar about his latest tryst.

As the Slaters prepare to host Josh, Sandra and The Truemans in The Vic, it’s clear that Zoe’s mind is on Jasmine. Kat reasons she’ll visit Jasmine whilst Zoe holds the fort, but Zoe is upset when she spots Josh’s bond with Patrick.

Later, Zoe is shocked when Josh reveals that Jasmine’s mobile accepted a call from him weeks prior and deduces that this confirms someone has Jasmine’s missing phone. A row erupts between the Truemans and the Slaters about Jasmine, and Josh leaves.

Watching from afar, a guilty Max heads to The Albert to encourage Cindy to hand the phone back.

Later, Cindy arrives at The Vic and attempts to plant the phone secretly, but the plan fails when she bumps into Oscar, and it lands at Kat’s feet!

Max watches on as Kat and Zoe rile at Cindy, and as Zoe takes the phone upstairs, the Slaters and Oscar watch the footage.
