A panicked Ruby reveals all to the police about Anthony’s abuse after a body is found in Emmerdale

But can she be stopped from revealing all about his murder?

Last week a body was found in the lake, but as yet the word is not out who it is. And panic sets in as Ruby, Cain, Caleb, and Chas are terrified that the body in the lake is Anthony.

When Chas learns the body has been there for months, it only fuels their fears it is Anthony. And with a shaken Ruby convinced it’s her father she decides to confess.

Instead, Caleb suggests they both flee to which Ruby agrees, but as Cain starts making enquiries about them heading to Irish relatives, Ruby slips out leaving a note and heads alone to the police station.

When Caleb awakens, he panics when he realises where Ruby has gone.

Meanwhile, in the police station Ruby starts by confessing to the years of harrowing abuse her father put her through. And makes it very clear Caleb had nothing to do with Anthony’s disappearance. Soon her interview is interrupted by the arrival of a solicitor. 

Back in the village, Chas spirals when she hears about Ruby’s confession but Caleb reassures her that his solicitor has a plan. As the police arrive to question Caleb, Chas hides Ruby's note. Will the family manage to get Ruby out of this situation unscathed or will they all be exposed?
