A stubborn Pollard is urged to consider help at home following two falls in Emmerdale

But can he ever accept he needs help?

Shunning Tracy’s offer of help, Pollard regrets trying to manage alone when he falls and there is no one around to come to his aid.

In the hospital, Pollard doesn’t remember anything and Jacob and Kerry urge him to consider some help at home. Feeling insulted and patronised, Pollard remains resolute in continuing as normal.

With Pollard now struggling with some everyday tasks, Kerry takes matters into her own hands and calls a home-help company.

After Eric has a further fall he finally accepts he needs help. But will it work? Can they come to a resolution?
