Will Felix leave JJ to shoulder the blame?
FOR WEEK COMMENCING 1ST APRIL
Felix’s attempts to fix things with Holly backfire after he spills a coffee on her brand new book, effectively making things even more tense between them. He’s not feeling particularly confident then, when a stressed Remi asks for his help getting a sullen JJ back on the right track.
However, Felix’s efforts work and JJ’s behaviour improves, leaving Felix surprised to find himself enjoying the parental role.
When Felix returns to Holly with a second-hand replacement of the book he ruined, and a genuine apology for not telling her about Jools, Holly is pleased, and it seems their friendship is back on track.
Except Felix has accidentally left his hand-written robbery plans tucked into the book.
Despite losing his mud map, Felix cements final plans with Slade for the robbery. Meanwhile, unable to deny that Felix’s involvement has put JJ back on the right path, Cara and Remi consider softening their stance on JJ spending time with Felix.
When his mum's lift his ban, JJ is grateful, but he's betrayed to discover Felix with Slade. Jumping into damage control, Felix reveals Slade is helping him as he needs two people to pull off the heist.
JJ is thrown when Felix also reveals that he’s offering Slade a cut on the proviso that he leaves JJ alone and he’s doing this for him and havoc ensues when Cara and Remi spot Slade at the tram.
After Cara’s citizen’s arrest, Slade is officially carted into the police station, with JJ and Felix watching on in shock.
With the job in jeopardy, Felix panics over how he will replace Slade. Believing Felix is acting for the right reasons, JJ offers to step in as his wingman. Although Felix raises that he would be breaking the law, JJ insists they’ve got each other’s backs.
Taking in JJ’s determined air, a desperate Felix finally concedes and talks him through the robbery plan, before almost immediately having doubts about getting him involved. But JJ insists he can handle it.
Arranging to have a dinner with Wendy and Andrew that night to say thank you, Felix decides not to tell them it’s also his farewell, as he plans to leave the country after the robbery.
When Felix sees JJ bonding with Cara he has a crisis of conscience and lies to JJ that he found someone else to help with the robbery and doesn't need him. And as Felix makes a final dinner for Wendy and Andrew, he's clearly sad about leaving the home he has built for himself.
The next day, JJ turns up at the robbery anyway, having figured out that Felix was lying. But Felix reluctantly agrees to let JJ come with him.
Meanwhile, Holly discovers the map of Eirini Rising that has been kept in her book and thinks it’s strange. After doing some digging, she develops a theory that it might be for Felix’s work and explains her suspicion to Andrew, who is doubtful, but feels obliged to investigate anyway.
As JJ and Felix complete the robbery, Andrew approaches the site and due to a misunderstanding, JJ gets in the van and knocks over some scaffolding, which collapses on Andrew.
In the immediate aftermath of the accident at Eirini Rising, Felix urges a horrified JJ to call an ambulance and flee the scene while he stays with Andrew. Fearful of the repercussions for both him and JJ, Felix begs Andrew to forget he ever saw them there. But before he can respond, Andrew passes out. And as the paramedics arrive, Felix slips away.
Later, in hospital, Andrew relays Felix’s deception to an outraged Wendy, asserting that he’s not going to grant Felix’s request but wants to hold off on giving a statement until he can speak to JJ who has been exploited by Felix and the least Andrew can do is prepare him for the consequences that lay ahead.
Returning home, Wendy goes through Felix’s bag to find the missing pages of Phillipa’s diary, which detail how Felix donated his sperm to Cara.
Meanwhile, a shame-faced JJ visits Andrew in hospital and apologises and he's glad that JJ plans to confess to his parents and turn himself in.
However, the women are stunned to learn that JJ was Felix’s accomplice at the heist and they track him down at the scene of the crime and match his self-loathing with love and support.
