But can he successfully turn her against her own family?

10-16 MAY
At a Mother’s Day lunch, Amanda takes in the lack of photos of her in Jane’s house and feels slighted.
Later, when Nicolette shows little interest in looking through Amanda’s collection of designer clothes she’s looking to rehome, Amanda feels further rebuffed, and offers the lot to Sadie.

When Amanda declares Mother’s Day ruined, Jane, used to navigating Amanda’s volatility, consoles her in time to salvage the day.
Meanwhile, checking Amanda’s shares, Darcy sees they’ve steadily risen in price and after searching for Amanda’s apartment for her shareholding documents, finally finds them in the freezer.

Later, a confirmation reveals he’s gifted all of Amanda’s stocks to himself. Darcy is suddenly a very rich man.

At dinner, Jane notices Amanda having a memory slip and Byron admits he’s noticed this too. And Sadie tells them Amanda has Byron’s mug after all, but she just forgot.

When Jane asks Susan and Terese for advice, they suggest Amanda get tested, but suggests they be diplomatic about it.

Offering to do it, Byron gently suggests an “in” by offering to help Amanda with her banking work, which she agrees to, but tells this to Darcy who becomes worried his fraud will be exposed. Darcy then begins to gaslight Amanda, hinting that her family might be after her money.

So when Byron offers to help with the banking, Amanda becomes suspicious and asks Byron to leave.
Meeting with Jane and Byron, Darcy shows them the smashed Byron mug, claiming that Amanda did it and is worried about Amanda’s mental health, which leaves Jane and Byron really worried.
