Skipping school, Avani conjures up a plan to explain her absence. But when Priya’s flirty exchange with Martin is interrupted by a text informing her of Avani’s truancy, she and Martin head off in search of the teen before finding her in the playground.
With Ravi jealous of Martin’s presence, Avani is amused and later tells Nugget of her plans to get Priya and Ravi back together.
When Priya asks Martin for a date, Avani has other ideas and attempts to play matchmaker by feigning upset to Ravi that Priya is ill. When both men arrive at No.41 at the same time, Martin gets the wrong idea and leaves as Priya is left angered by her daughter’s antics.
As Priya and Ravi chastise Avani for her actions, Ravi encourages Priya to go on a date with Martin at Walford East, which he accepts.
As Priya and Martin hit it off at the restaurant, Avani continues to wreak havoc on their date by pouring wine onto his lap
