Lee’s drinking sparks a family row as Linda pushes Max away in EastEnders

But can Max stay out of the Carters’ business?

As she continues to worry about Lee and his drinking, Linda challenges him to go sober for a week.

Later, Nancy is honest with Linda about how overwhelmed she is feeling, and Linda agrees to go to her antenatal class with her instead of Lee.

Feeling pushed out, Lee gets drunk and arrives at the class where he causes a scene.

After stepping in to try and diffuse the tension between Linda, Nancy and Lee, Max is upset when Linda asks him to stay out of family affairs and asks him to leave.

Later, Max tries to speak to Nancy about the family argument, but when he starts to criticise Lee, Nancy orders him to stay out of their family business.

Confiding in Lauren, Max vows to insert himself into Linda’s family whilst the Carters call a truce from their earlier argument.
