Can Honey forgive Bea’s betrayal?

 9-15 MAY

As Bea fusses around Ian on his first day of being Walford’s councillor, he's too distracted to pay attention. And later, Linda riles at Ian for his previous actions as he tries to smooth things over with Elaine.

Meanwhile, as Honey continues to worry that her identity has been stolen, after encouragement from Billy, she asks Bea to confirm when she’s moving out, who tells her that she’s hoping to move in with Ian.

However, her plans are scuppered when Cindy shows Ian Bea’s article in the gazette, which names them as husband and wife, and Ian decides to call time on their relationship.

Shocked by Bea's reaction, Ian's troubles are far from over when he discovers that Bea paid for votes using a fraudulent credit card in Honey’s name, and heads to No.18 to confront her in front of Honey.

As Bea tries to cover her tracks, Honey orders Ian to leave. Realising she is out of options, Bea confesses all, and Honey meets Kathy, Ian, Linda and Elaine in The Vic to discuss the situation.

Ian is adamant that Honey shouldn’t call the police, as he secretly fears her actions could jeopardise his position.

Back home, Honey is about to forgive Bea, but when news of her actions reaches Billy, he returns to demand that Bea leave.

Out of revenge, Bea tampers with Billy’s ladder, then panics about her actions from afar.

Later, Bea heads to No.45 to apologise to Ian, but he doesn’t buy it, and with no other options, she goes to McClunky’s to sleep there.

EastEnders continues Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One with first look episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer
