Breeders returning for a fourth series on Sky Comedy

Series three launched in the UK last week, with all episodes available now.

The hit comedy starring Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard which continues to explore the challenges of modern parenting will return for a fourth series on Sky and FX, who co-commission the series in the UK and USA respectively.

In series three, Breeders continues its bitter-sweet look at the struggles of modern parenthood, starting just days after series two ended, as the Worsley family reels from teenage Luke punching his dad, Paul.

Paul’s moved out and is staying at his mother-in-law Leah’s house. He should be lonely but actually, the simpler life has its appeal.  Eventually, though, amends with Luke must be made.

Meanwhile, Ally has her own problems - with work, early menopause and her increasingly strained relationship with her newly adolescent daughter, Ava.

Sky UK & Ireland's MD of Content Zai Bennett said "This uniquely honest and hilariously entertaining comedy about the pitfalls of parenting really strikes a chord with UK audiences [...] thanks to Avalon and FX for continuing our partnership to see what’s next for the Worsley family."

Created by Simon Blackwell, Chris Addison and Martin Freeman, Breeders is produced by Avalon and FX Productions for FX with Blackwell as showrunner. Executive producers are Blackwell, Addison, Freeman, Richard Allen-Turner, Rob Aslett, David Martin, Jon Thoday, Toby Welch and Michael Wiggs.
