How long can Charity keep the truth hidden?

When Manpreet checks on her, Charity lies that her breakdown is postnatal depression, and Manpreet prescribes her medication, leaving Charity feeling utterly alone in her new lie.

When Mack returns, Charity is upset to learn he has told Sarah about her troubles, and once alone, she washes some sleeping pills down with wine.

The next day, Sarah feels guilty, believing her gran's presumed postnatal depression is a result of being her surrogate, and desperately wants to know more when Charity suggests there's "more going on".

Struggling to share her real pain, Charity deflects the conversation back to PND and her lack of sleep. And Mack later consoles a distraught Sarah, who sobs, blaming the surrogacy for all Charity’s emotional pain.
