Charity turns on Marlon and Mary as Robert lures them away from the Woolpack in Emmerdale

Eager to poach him as a chef, Robert butters up Marlon, and his promises of creative freedom in his new business leads Marlon to admit to Charity that Robert is trying to poach him.

Marlon’s cowed as Charity reminds him of his loyalties but when Robert continues to try and sell his vision, Marlon is clearly seriously tempted and they end up excitedly brainstorming ideas.

When Marlon gives Robert a figure for his salary, Aaron’s unimpressed and appalled when Robert agrees to Marlon’s lofty asking price.

A little while later, Charity is horrified when a guilty Marlon and Mary admit they’re giving their notice in order to go and work for Robert.

Feeling betrayed, Charity makes a show of turning on Marlon and Mary, and furiously throws Robert and Aaron out of the pub.
