Kev offers Nicola a place to stay as she struggles to cope without Jimmy in Emmerdale

Could his unexpected resemblance to Jimmy help her sleep?

Overwhelmed by the lunchtime rush, Nicola hits her limit and throws everyone out of the cafe. 

After convincing Nicola to open the door, Kev pulls her into a hug and as the pair have a heart to heart, Nicola opens up about her grief and is taken aback to see a more vulnerable side to Kev.

Nicola continues reminiscing about Jimmy and admits she can’t sleep without his snoring. And Kev offers her his bed, for a change of scenery. 

Touched, Nicola accepts his offer, but when she later fails to sleep, she heads to go. But when she passes Kev sleeping on the sofa, his snoring reminds her of Jimmy and she lies down on the floor next to him, hoping this might be her remedy.
