After Manpreet advises him to try some reverse psychology on Naomi with regards to Alex, Charles suspects that Naomi is up to something when she offers to cook a family lunch. And it's not long before both Alex and Charles realise it’s an ambush.
Needling Alex over lunch, Charles is soon struck by Manpreet’s words as she reminds him his hostile attitude is only driving Alex and Naomi closer together.
Goading Charles for a reaction, Naomi plants a kiss on Alex and Charles fights his instinct to intervene.
The next day, Manpreet suggests he talks to the person who knows him best, Dawn. Will that give Charles any hope?
