Inviting Mandy to join her at the scan, Ella is also having to have a paternity test for Liam.
At work, when Ella starts having stomach cramps, Vanessa takes it seriously and reckons she should definitely get checked, which Liam does.
The next day, ahead of Ella’s scan, Paddy tries to reach out to Liam who wants to join Ella for it, but she is refusing.
However, when things go wrong transport wise, Liam ends up at the scan with Ella. As the sonographer takes the reading, there is a problem as no foetus can be found.
Before an explanation can be offered, Liam accuses Ella of hoodwinking him, citing how there never was a baby and that is why she didn’t want him at the scan.
Back in the village, Paddy consoles Liam who is aghast Ella could have stooped so low as to have pretended there was a baby.
With Liam thinking she is truly unhinged, is there more to this than meets the eye?
