Charlie is arrested in Hollyoaks after Ella drops the bombshell that Tony could be her dad

How will Taz react to his arrest? And is there any truth to Ella's claims?

When Charlie isn't very supportive of Ella's idea to discover who her real dad is, Darren steps in and suggests she speak to Tony.

Over at The Dog, Ella is wondering if Tony might in fact be her father, Charlie tries to convince her that she needs more evidence before saying anything. Instead, she has another idea and goes to speak to Beau. Unable to ask what she really wants, Ella panics and tells Beau that he’s her brother and he tells her that she needs evidence.

However, when Tony overhears some of the conversation, Ella must come clean. With it out in the open, Tony goes back through his past and finds a letter from his ex-wife Mandy explaining that Ella had been born.

Meanwhile, as he sits his maths exam, Charlie's head spins after receiving a message from Shing Lin. Back home, Charlie worries that he's messed up his test and Shing Lin has an idea to take his mind off it, but when Darren returns home early, the teenagers are rumbled.

After hearing his friend’s disaster story, Dillon comes up with a way to get Darren out the house so Charlie and Shing Lin can pick up where they left off, but when things don’t go to plan, Charlie’s paranoia kicks in and he tells Shing Lin to leave.

Struggling with his emotions, Charlie lashes out at Darren and Shing Lin and later, in the park, she decides not to tell Dillon about what really happened the night before with Charlie. But when Charlie walks by, he gets the wrong idea and thinking he’s being laughed at, pushes Dillon to the ground.

Noticing the commotion, DS Zoe demands to know what’s going on. Not wanting to drag out the awkwardness the three teenagers all say nothing happened and Zoe lets them off. And what will happen when Charlie’s phone goes off, having left it at home?

And things go from bad to worse for the teenager after he and Dillon meet Taz to pick up some more drugs and are caught red-handed by DS Zoe who arrests Charlie.

After spending the night in police custody, Charlie is let off with a caution, but it's far from over as dealer Taz is determined to find out what happened. Meanwhile, a guilty Darren stays quiet and instead opens up to Charlie about his mental health journey and encourages him to see a professional.

Charlie agrees, but as the pair wait for his appointment at the hospital, a slip of the tongue leads to the truth coming out.
