Alone by her daughter's grave with Faith's firework, Chas is approached by a stranger with some bombshell news. Who could it be?

When Chas drops off some Christmas presents for the Dingles as well as a small birthday present for Belle, she's left feeling sad and alone when Belle and Mandy’s hostility towards her causes an atmosphere.

As she seeks solace in the closed and empty Woolpack, Chas is mortified to find Paddy and Eve with Marlon's family in full Christmas swing. And she and Paddy have to continue their ceasefire out of consideration for their daughter.
Emotions run high for Marlon when he thanks everyone who’s been there for him on his recovery journey, but the awkward atmosphere is too much for Chas who quietly leaves with her mother’s firework in tow and visits her daughter’s grave.
Reading out the card given to her by Faith, Chas misses both her mother and her daughter and when a stranger approaches with some bombshell news, Chas stays strong, just as Faith’s firework takes off leaving Chas stunned.

And stress levels rise for Paddy as he accidentally gives Vinny’s dog an overdose of sedative. Sitting hopelessly in his car, tears begin to fall and it's clear that Paddy is struggling.
Emmerdale continues Mondays to Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV1
