Chelsea races to save Ian as his fate hangs in the balance in EastEnders

But will she make it to court before it’s too late?

Ian savours what could be his final day of freedom, with those around him showing their support.

As the Beales leave for court, Ian’s lawyer arrives with good news. Hopeful, and despite his bail conditions, Ian seeks out Chelsea and begs for help, but she orders him to leave.

Overcome, Chelsea confesses her guilt to Kim and, determined to do the right thing, calls Ian and promises to help him in court.

Back in Walford, Chelsea and Kim are delayed on their way to court. As the judge prepares to deliver the verdict, Ian anxiously awaits Chelsea’s arrival.

Later, Chelsea admits to Sheila that she was partially to blame for Jordan’s accident, and when Sheila later tells Gray, his unexpected reaction unsettles her.

Back on the wing, a prison commotion sparks an idea for Gray, and he begins to scheme.

Chelsea’s behaviour makes Sheila question her, playing into Gray’s manipulations, and she confronts Chelsea, who realises she must let her see Jordan.

When Chelsea and Kim visit Denise, Chelsea admits her role in Jordan’s accident, leaving Denise disgusted.

Back in Walford, Chelsea tells Jordan the truth about Sheila and agrees to let her spend more time with him, despite the family's concerns.
