Calling his dealer, Dave brings Peri down with him. But at what cost?
Heading to the police station, Cindy is determined to find out more information about Ella’s death and later, finding Zoe in Price Slice, confronts her about the investigation. Overhearing the conversation, Ste is dragged into it.
As Cindy continues to push Dave away, he calls his dealer and drags Peri down with him and later, Peri ropes Lizzie into a day of partying. Bumping into Misbah, Peri is reminded that their shift is about to start and she isn’t in uniform.
Remembering that another car that may have caused the accident that led to Ella’s death, Theresa asks Darren for a lift to the crash site to help Cindy’s investigation.
After Cindy invites Zoe around to report Theresa’s recent discovery, Suzanne insists on helping out at the get-together planned for Cindy. As everyone gathers to support Cindy at The Dog, Dave collapses.
At the hospital, Peri is forced to come clean about Dave's drug-taking and when he has an episode, Dave requires morphine urgently and Peri clumsily tries to draw it up. But just before she administers it, Misbah stops her, realising it’s adrenaline.
When Ste finds a heartbroken Cindy, she tells him to hold his loved ones tight and while trying to support her, Ste discover that Theresa believes another car was involved in the collision.
Later, Ste goes to a narcotic support group but is stopped in his tracks and after snapping at Sienna, Ste goes to apologise to his best friend who admits she misses the village. And Ste tells her he’ll ask James to help track down Rafe.
After confiding in Lizzie, Cindy drops the box containing Ella’s order of service, whilst Ste runs past without helping.
