With Darren deciding to get a vasectomy, Nancy fears he’s doing it impulsively due the harsh words said by his daughter and reassure him that he's a brilliant dad. Having been encouraged to be there for Frankie, Darren cancels the surgery.
Having found an empty emergency contraception packet, Darren approaches Frankie, and when he sees her in distress, asks if it was consensual.
Later, Freddie is forced to hold Darren back as he accuses Lucas of assaulting his daughter.
Lying to Darren, Frankie tells him that she had consensual sex with Lucas. During a heart-to-heart, Freddie advises Darren to be careful with Frankie, revealing he's not in touch with his own daughter, Lexi, because of his own demons.
Furious, Ste spots the pair and confronts Darren for accusing Lucas of rape.
As Darren tries to bond with Frankie, JJ interrupts and Darren tells Suzanne that Frankie needs counselling.
