Can a chat with Honour's brother-in-law save their marriage?
Honour frantically cleans ahead of her sister, Mei Lian’s arrival and things are tense between Honour and Dave when she doesn’t want to introduce his illegitimate daughter, Maxine, to her family. And it gets worse when Honour rents a flashy car.
When Dave confronts her over her behaviour, she turns the tables on him and admits that she knows his ex-wife took out a restraining order against him.
Before he can explain, her family arrive and as Honour and Dave play happy families, she brushes him off and lies to Mei Lian about his profession in a bid to make her look more successful.
But when Mei Lian confronts Honour for lying to her since they arrived, she opens up about Dave being the biggest liar of all. Overhearing how he's let her down so many times, Dave storms off.
Honour later finds Dave at The Loft and he tells her what really happened with his ex-wife. As she tries to piece everything together after Dave’s shocking announcement, Honour confides in her sister who is sympathetic to Dave as she has a secret of her own. She has lost all of her family’s life savings after attempting to buy a complex, only to discover it was a scam.
Meanwhile, at The Loft, Honour’s brother-in-law, Meng Chye, reassures Dave, telling him it's clear that he would do anything for Honour. He later begs Honour to take him back, so that they can have the best life together. But is that what Honour wants too?
And when Mei Lian and her husband return home arguing, they tell their daughter, Shing Lin the truth about their money. What does this mean for her future?
