Dominic West and Sienna Miller to star in Sky’s new thriller WAR

And they have already confirmed that there will be two series!

Sky and HBO have both today announced WAR, a bold new legal thriller from the creator of Lupin and Hijack, starring Dominic West as tech titan Morgan Henderson and Sienna Miller as his estranged wife, international film star Carla Duval. 

Two rival London law firms take on the case of the century. In a world of love, scandal, betrayal and ambition, winning is everything. This is WAR.

Set in the elite world of London law, it debuts with a scandalous divorce case that sends shockwaves through boardrooms, bedrooms, and courtrooms alike.

It follows two of London’s most prestigious rival firms, Cathcarts and Taylor & Byrne, as they go head-to-head in the divorce case of the century. 

Each side is certain they’ll win, but as the case spirals and loyalties fracture, reputations are on the line, and everyone’s playing to win. This is just the beginning as series one’s explosive case is the first in an anthology of headline-making legal battles. And a second series has already been confirmed.

Joining the cast alongside Dominic West and Sienna Miller will be Phoebe Fox as Serena Byrne and James McArdle as Nicholas Taylor, partners in life and business at Taylor & Byrne; Nina Sosanya as “Her Majesty” Beatrice “Queen Bea” Ubosi, and Pip Torrens as St John Smallwood, their counterparts and fierce rivals at Cathcarts; and Archie Renaux as ambitious lawyer Jonathan “Johnny” Warren.

Co-produced by New Pictures and Observatory Pictures, in association with Sky and HBO, WAR is created, written and executive produced by George Kay, directed by Ben Taylor and executive produced by Willow Grylls and Matt Sandford for New Pictures, Ben Taylor, Susan Breen, Andrea Dewsbury and Megan Spanjian for Sky.
