With Marnie on the hunt for the perfect candidate for a job at the Salon De The, she hopes they'll be reeled in by her French charm. However, she ends up with only two applicants - Donna-Maria and Becky.

As she puts them both to the test, Marnie keeps Becky and Donna-Marie in suspense, choosing to take a phone call instead of telling them who she’s chosen.

To spite Donna-Marie, Marnie decides that she needs to sleep on the decision but tells James that she intends to give her a taste of her own medicine.

That night, Donna-Marie breaks into the café where Ste is working the night shift and tells him that she’s leaving Marnie a gift, so she gets the job - a mouse! Ste agrees to keep her secret, under one condition, that she does the cleaning for him. And the pair bond over a conversation about life in prison.

When Donna-Marie claims that the café has some new tenants, it's all part of her ploy to make Becky quit and give her the job. But as she arranges for a pest control specialist to remove the mouse that she’s put into the café, will she get the job?
