But how long before everyone else finds out and will the baby survive a moped accident?
As the day of Hope’s Christening arrives, Kat sneaks off after missing her own children and feeling guilty about being Hope's godmother. However when she receives a secret call from Tommy, will she make it back to the church on time?
Elsewhere Hayley saves the day by finding Hope's missing gown and with Kat still missing, she's asked to be Hope's new godmother.
Later at the party, Jean's confused after she heads home to get Hayley for family photos and finds her upset and doubting her abilities as a mother. As Hayley pours an alcoholic drink down the sink she reveals to Jean that she's pregnant.
After forcing a health kick on Hayley, Jean is horrifies when she joins Kat on the moped to learn the Knowledge. Things take a turn for the worst when they have an accident and fall off the bike. After a funny turn, Hayley is worried that Kat will find out about the baby after her and Jean insist she visits A&E.
Luckily, Hayley later finds out that the baby is fine and Jean pleads with her to contact the father of the baby. But Jean is shocked to be told that he thinks she had a termination.
Jean volunteers Hayley to babysit Hope, thinking it’ll be good practice but Hayley is hurt to find a baby monitor and sets a trap for Jean and it's not long before Jean comes running.
As Hope starts crying, Hayley panics but Jean explains it’s normal and urges her again to tell the father. Admitting she’s in a complete mess, Hayley admits that she can’t tell him.
But when the Slaters praise Hayley’s babysitting efforts, she feels awful for harbouring her secret.
