With Linda convinced on Monday (1st October) that something isn't right with Mick, Tina and Shirley are keen to do anything they can to help. But will Linda let them? And how will Linda react when Shirley accuses her of giving up?
Later, Linda confesses to Sharon that she threw the gun in the canal to protect Mick.
On Tuesday (2nd October), the Carters panic after learning that the police have a statement from a man claiming he sold a gun to Mick. Their fears worsen when they find out that the bullet matches the gun.
When Linda visits Mick to tell him the news, he's left horrified and admits that he did contemplate killing Stuart that night, but insists he's innocent.
Walking away, Linda publicly cuts all ties with Mick and later tells Halfway and the rest of the Carters that she believes Mick is guilty and refuses to stand by him anymore. But whose side will they be on?
As Shirley berates Linda for her disloyalty on Thursday (4th October) Tina offers Linda support.
On Friday (5th October), Mick pleads with Shirley on the phone to get Linda to speak with him, but as Shirley tells Linda that he'll call again later, Linda isn't interested. However she later contemplates taking the call before letting it ring out, leaving him heartbroken.
