EastEnders win BIG at The British Soap Awards 2025

Including the biggest award of the night, Best Soap!

The British Soap Awards 2025 took place at London's Hackney Empire last night (Saturday 31st May), but unlike previous years, the awards weren't broadcast live, which means soap fans are going to have to wait until Thursday night at 8pm on ITV1, to watch their favourite soap stars accept their awards.

The night was once again hosted by the wonderful Jane McDonald, celebrating a mammoth year in soap opera, looking back on twelve months of murder, mystery, make-ups, break ups, trials, tribulations and tears. With some categories voted for by the public, and others by an expert judging panel.

It was a star-studded affair, with an impressive list of well-known faces handing out the awards, including Joe Absolom and Patsy Kensit, Wicked stars Hattie Ryan and Karis Musongole, Tasha Ghouri and Richie Anderson, Denise Welch and Martin Kemp, Emmett J Scanlan, Kelvin, Liz and Marnie Fletcher, Angellica Bell and Danny Beard, Chris Walker and Jan Pearson, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Natalie J Robb and Mark Charnock, Larry Lamb, Delta Goodrem and Sir David Jason.

But if you can't wait until then. And let's be honest, the spoilers online are pretty much unavoidable, then here are the full list of this year's winners which saw EastEnders walk away with eight awards, Hollyoaks won three and trailing behind, were Emmerdale with two wins and Coronation Street with just the one.
