Ella accuses Chas of having a painkiller addiction as she tries to prove her innocence in Emmerdale

But who will Liam believe?

Last week, Ella was accused of drugging Chas, causing her to collapse and this week she's still seemingly hell bent on proving her innocence.

Despite Chas withdrawing her statement, Ella is standing firm and refuses to leave the village. Soon a defiant Ella announces her plan to demonstrate her innocence by proving Chas framed her.

Imploring Liam to listen, Ella tries to persuade him that Chas likely has an addiction to painkillers. But when Chas finds Liam rooting through her cupboard, she's unimpressed as he admits he's checking on her pill consumption.

Furious, Chas marches out to remonstrate with Ella, but when she confronts her, Ella sticks to her hypothesis that Chas must have overdosed due to an addiction. Leaving Liam and Chas at their wits’ end with Ella’s interference in their relationship.

The next day, Ella’s left distraught that Manpreet wants her to move out immediately. But soon, Manpreet is mortified when a bitter Ella informs everyone of the racy pictures that led to her blackmail.
