Ella convinced that Warren is her biological dad after Charlie leads her on in Hollyoaks

When Leah goes against Ella's wishes, has she made things worse?

On the day of the prom, Darren discovers the truth about Charlie and Ella’s recent activities and with things back on track for the teen with Shing Lin, Brooke points out how Charlie could be seen as leading Ella on and encourages him to go speak to her.

When Ella arrives at school Charlie dashes off to talk to her but when she gets the wrong end of the stick Charlie admits how they shouldn’t have slept together as he wants things to work with his new girlfriend.

However, things get more awkward when Shing Lin overhears and Charlie is left in the middle of two hurt teenagers. And Ella questions why Charlie bought her a dress if he doesn’t want to get back with her.

During prom, Darren tries to comfort Charlie and suggests they both go home, but the teen declines wanting to prove he’ll fight for his girlfriend and not wanting to let his bandmates and peers down by not playing.

However, with Ella having left the party, the band must go on a guitar down.

After drinking a bottle of alcohol alone, Ella stumbles to the garage where Warren is locking up, concerned for the teen the local gangster tries to help.

Convinced that her dad is Warren, Ella tells Leah just as Ste walks in and overhears and is shocked to hear that Cindy has left Ella on her own while she goes to Blackpool. Realising how much she's dealing with, Ste offers her some advice on what she should do about Warren.

Meanwhile, at prom, when Charlie asks his girlfriend if they can go outside and talk, he’s left standing embarrassed and wet in front of everyone after she throws a bowl of drink over him and declares that they’re over.

Down at the park, as emotions get on top of Charlie, Dillon finds him and recognising that his friend is struggling, comes up with a way of distracting him from his mind that involves car keys that he found in the staff room. However, things take a wrong turn when Darren sees the two boys get into the car.

With Cindy still not picking up, Ste rushes to confront Charlie after Leah tells her dad about Charlie leading Ella on. When Ste arrives, Darren admits to him and Tony that the teen is struggling with anxiety.

Seeing their friend worry Ste and Tony remind Darren that they all make mistakes growing up and he just needs guidance. But Darren admits he feels he has let the teen down and failed him.

When Cindy returns home, protective over her friend and against Ella’s wishes, Leah tells her about the pain Charlie has caused Ella and that Warren might be her biological father.

Later, at the back of The Dog, Brooke finds Charlie upset. Realising what he’s done, Charlie calls himself selfish and confides in Brooke about how he hurts everyone around him.

Going back to Darren, Charlie admits he wants to get better and can’t do it alone. Knowing how hard mental health can be, Darren promises he’ll help but that they must continue talking.

While the teens attend the sixth form taster day, Leah is worried about Ella who hasn’t shown up and confides in Vicky, Freya and Shing-Lin about how she’s going through a lot right now and the last time she went missing, she ended up in hospital.

With Ella still in everyone’s bad books, it’s down to Leah to help her friend who isn’t speaking to her after she told Cindy what’s been going on. As Mason helps bring Ella and Leah together, Ella pushes her away unable to see that her friend only wants to help.

In the schoolyard, Beau stops Leah asking if Ella is OK, concerned he’s not seen her at any of the sixth-form taster sessions. When Leah tells him about Ella snapping at her and how she’s done with her, the teacher tries to encourage her to give her some time and be there for her as she’ll be struggling with all the questions she’s searching for answers for.

Later, Ella continues to find more similarities between her and Warren pushing her theory that he is her biological father.
