And Mandy suffers another panic attack, driving her further away from Ella.
Taking the next step to normality, Ella returns to school and Cindy has to remind her mum, Mandy, to give her space on this big day.
But Ella has regrets when she notices mean posts about her online on the school's page and Charlie promises to give everyone something else to talk about.
On a mission to rebuild her relationship with her daughter, Mandy begs to meet up with Ella but as she waits for her, Mandy has another panic attack. Luckily Dr Ali finds her and takes her home, but this results in her being a no-show, as a furious Ella turns up on her doorstep.
When Mandy tells him that she doesn’t want anyone to know the real reason why she didn’t show up for Ella, Ali covers for her.
Elsewhere, Charlie tells Ella that they don’t need anyone, as he promises to be there for her.
