Texting his mum, Ethan asks her why she didn't turn up. When he receives a text from what appears to be his mum, Ethan looks hurt and Meena sends Manpreet over to comfort him. He shares with her how his 'mum' doesn't want to get to know him.
When Charles asks Manpreet if she knows what’s bothering Ethan, she doesn’t give anything away and later encourages Ethan to tell his Dad about the search for his mum. Asking that she be kept out of the conversation.
