Someone from George’s past questions his decision about not allowing Eddie to be buried with Gloria. And when Elaine tries to support George amid his issues with Nicola, a misunderstanding between the couple leads to a clash.

Reeling, Nicola later crosses paths with Suki and Eve, and tensions flare.

When Phil tries to mediate between Nicola and George, Nicola refuses to engage, and George struggles with guilt as he visits Gloria’s grave.

Later, Eve and Jean find George drunk on a bench, and when Jean leaves, Eve stays, and they open up to each other.

Worried about George, Nicola enlists Harry’s help, and as they take him to Harry’s Barn, she probes the source of George’s guilt. And when Nicola opens up about her past, the pair share an emotional moment.
