But when Haz does the unthinkable, what will the consequences be?

When Haz begs Mackenzie to spend some couple time with him, she turns him down, having made arrangements for another meet up with Zach Wade, privately prioritising supporting his victim.
What she doesn't know, is that Zach is employing devious tactics to gain her trust. Enjoying hearing about the destruction he's caused with her friends, Zach digs for ways to make her life hell and when he learns about her dream to be on the Supreme Court one day, it’s clear he’s about to put a big spoke in her wheel.
Furious with Haz, Mackenzie finally gives him an ultimatum either he comes clean about his deep fake hacking history and tells their friends and the police, or she will.
Meeting with Zach again, Mackenzie is shocked to hear him reveal how the person who destroyed his life sent a deep fake to his best friend of him tricking his friend’s parents into handing over their life’s savings. Realising it's the last straw, Mackenzie breaks up with Haz.
Finally realising Mackenzie was right, Haz writes an apology letter to everyone impacted by the deep fake scandal, including Zach who he meets with, to deliver his letter in person, and also to reveal his connection to Mackenzie.
But when Haz promises that he wasn’t responsible for the grave-defacing deep fake, Zach suddenly turns cold and calculated, admitting he made that up to give Mackenzie the final push she needed to break up with him.
In doing so, Zach is revealed as the deep fake hacker and delivers Haz an ultimatum, and he must agree to his demands, otherwise Mackenzie's life will be greatly affected.
When Haz confesses to his criminal past, Andrew warns him that jail time will be the likely result and he accepts that's the price he has to pay. But as friends and neighbours turn on him, Haz’s concern about the impact on Mackenzie drives him to do the unthinkable.
