On the day of the funeral, Ste is furious when he receives a letter stating that there is no evidence to support Misbah’s manslaughter charge and decides to protest outside the hospital rather than attend the funeral.
Meanwhile, Imran turns on Yazz after he catches her with the recording of his confession, which she was about to take to Misbah’s tribunal.
With Tegan's wake happening at the Hutch, Misbah turns up for a drink to celebrate and Ste throws wine over her.
Later, Yazz shows Misbah the bruises Imran has been giving her and Ste begs Sinead to set Misbah up by sneaking a bottle of gin into her office when she goes for her interview.
