Jacob tries to tackle his bully by reporting Todd to HR in Emmerdale

But will he come to regret that decision?

Last week, Jacob realised Doctor Todd was using his past history to manipulate and had rented a property close to him.

With the weight of the world on his shoulders, Jacob is not only dealing with Todd at work, but she’s moved into the village, and he’s been called as a witness at Bear’s trial.

Spotting his angst, Ross checks in with him and hears about his bullying boss, but is surprised when Jacob lets slip that it is a woman. And Ross advises him to talk it out with her.

Soon, Jacob heads to see Doctor Todd and asks if he can have a word. Before long, Jacob decides to raise a formal complaint with her employers and doesn’t worry Sarah by telling her about his meeting with HR.

At the Hospital, colleague Rich can’t believe Jacob is complaining to HR and warns him it is career suicide. And Doctor Todd’s face darkens as she spots Jacob entering a room with the HR rep.

In his HR meeting, Jacob’s anxiety levels are sky high as he relays how Todd’s bullying made him feel, unaware that Charity’s childbirth drama is simultaneously unfolding in the same building.

After his meeting, Jacob is horrified to see all the missed calls, and when Todd tries to corner him to ask why he’s met with HR, Jacob finally stands up to her in person.
