But can the Dingles outsmart the Tates?

 21-27 MARCH

Joe blackmails Robert and Aaron by selling the Butlers' cattle herd, which was not included in their lease, and Robert is left with no choice but to let Joe sell the cattle. Aaron’s reminder of his family strengthens his resolve to keep the farm going.

When Mackenzie and Matty reveal that they are secretly helping Sam with the Dingle Farm and that Joe intends to sell the herd, Cain remains determined to make the farm a success. But when Mackenzie reports that they can't afford a full cattle herd due to high prices, it's a major blow to Cain's plans.

Cain explodes with rage when Sam forgets his meeting about the farm machinery and declares the "farm-dream is over," before storming out.

In the dead of night, a hooded figure breaks into Emmerdale Farm and Robert and Aaron are blindsided when a panicked Matty arrives at Butlers' claiming that the herd of cows have gone missing.

Joe accuses Robert of being behind the herd theft, but when Robert protests otherwise, Joe and Graham head out on a mission, certain they know where to find the culprit.

When accused by Joe, the Dingles smugly deny stealing the herd, and out on a country road, the herd rustler is revealed to be Belle, who panics when Cain rings to tell her that the tracker has been left on the bull.

Following the bull's tracker, Joe speeds along country roads and is stunned to be stopped in his tracks by a Dingle decoy.

Emmerdale continues Monday to Friday at 8pm on ITV1 with first look episodes available from 7am on ITVX
