John digs up some dirt on a suspicious Robert in Emmerdale

But what has he heard? And which brother will be believed?

 26 JULY - 1 AUGUST

Robert tries to glean information about John saving Jacob’s life, but Jacob rushes off. And Robert’s mind is sent whirring as Pollard recounts stories of all the villagers John has saved. And Robert remains undeterred after voicing his opinion that John is too good to be true to Chas, who was having none of it.

Noticing that John has left his phone on a nearby table at the cafe, Robert tries to unlock it, but when John arrives, he hands over the phone, leaving John worried.

When John voices his concerns about Robert to Chas, she thinks Robert’s just jealous. And when Victoria tries to persuade Robert to get some help, he refuses, and John agrees to ask Liam to check in on him.

Sneaking into Keepers, John secretly leaves a small listening device. After listening into one of Robert’s conversations, John is buoyed to finally have some dirt on his brother. But what has he heard?
