 6-12 SEPTEMBER

Once more, Aaron tries to make his escape from John before Robert finally arrives at the cottage, accusing his brother of committing murder. But John’s defiance is unbreakable.

When the confrontation turns physical, Robert’s left lifeless on the ground. Checking that Robert’s still breathing, John’s relieved not to have killed again, but it’s short-lived as he spies Aaron making an escape.

As a distressed Aaron searches for the hatch in the woods, he knows is connected to Mack’s disappearance.

Meanwhile, John tears through the woods, frantically, to locate his runaway husband. But with his search for Mack increasingly hopeless, Aaron is stopped in his tracks by a massive gorge.Turning around, he’s shocked to be face to face with John.

As John tries to improvise a cover story, Aaron no longer believes a word from his lips and all at once, Aaron can see how unbalanced John really is. He urges John to lead him to Mack but just as John is on the verge of calling the police to confess, Robert appears. His sense of betrayal is instantaneous as he accuses Aaron of orchestrating the reunion.

Meanwhile, Vic’s alarmed to finally hear first-hand from Paddy about his fears for John’s welfare and immediately tries to contact John before urging Paddy to search for him with her.

As things escalate, John calls the police to frame Robert before jumping into the gorge with his arms around Aaron.

With Robert still reeling after witnessing John pull Aaron off the cliff, he looks over the edge and sees both of them motionless, and dials 999.

Robert is left defeated when no one believes his accusations that John is behind the recent terror in the village. Believing he’s the one that pushed John and Aaron off the gorge, Chas vows to make him pay.

Waiting to be interviewed at the Police Station, Robert fears for Aaron’s life.
