As the day of her first chemo session arrives, Juliet still hides the truth from her closest friends and family and before her appointment, heads to Romeo’s where unaware of her diagnosis, he has a big surprise waiting for her and breaks the news that he is heading to Spain to be with Theresa.
When Juliet lets slip to Nadira that she is due to be at the hospital, instead of telling her the truth, she lies that she and Peri are giving it another go. At the hospital, Juliet bumps into Peri and tells her that she and Nadira are giving it another go.
On Christmas Day, Nadira and Peri make it their mission to find out why Juliet is lying to them. But is Juliet ready to tell them the truth? And Tony is determined to give everyone a perfect Christmas day as he hands out more of Verity’s gifts to the villagers.
As James and Juliet spend Christmas together, he talks about missing his mother and how important it is to have those people that love you around you.
When Warren, who has been sleeping on the garage floor, bumps into a sick Juliet, he encourages her to reach out to the ones who love her to help her through. But will she listen to the village ‘gangster’?
Meanwhile, Shaq bumps into Peri in the park, who invites him to Christmas dinner. But he encourages her to tell Juliet how she really feels about her.
Later, feeling rejected by Juliet, Peri heads to see Shaq and when Juliet finds Peri, to explain what is really going on, before she gets the chance to, Nadira and Peri start having an argument in front of her in the middle of the village and Juliet blurts out that she has cancer! Not able to accept Juliet’s diagnosis as truth, Peri runs away and calls Juliet a liar.
With the support of James and Nadira, Juliet plans to tell her mum about her diagnosis at the Christmas table. But will she be able to do it?
Finding Juliet in the park, Peri apologises for the way she reacted to her news and Juliet explains to her that she’s scared.
Meanwhile, James heads round to see Ste, hoping for a Christmas kiss but Ste has other thoughts as he gives James a crafting gift.
And when Eric later pops into The Dog to see Tony, things quickly turn sour when gossip leads to a fight between him and Eric and Eric records a new video eluding that people’s time will soon be up. What is he planning? After Tony, Diane and Beau head to Eric’s to get him to come home for Christmas dinner, he asks if he can be on his own.
