Kim finds herself alone this Christmas in Emmerdale

Will she ever reconcile with Joe?

 20 DECEMBER - 2 JANUARY

Joe is incandescent with rage after Lydia makes an admission to him about her and Sam’s responsibility for Kim’s misfortune.

Meanwhile, Kim’s isolation deepens as she cancels the order for her family Christmas dinner.

When Joe returns to patch things up with Kim, she sends him packing. Soon, whilst alone at Home Farm, Kim has fallen and is in agony, unable to get up without assistance. Having called for help, she’s annoyed it’s Lydia who’s arrived.

Despite Lydia helping her off the floor, Kim immediately dismisses her. But Lydia goes against her wishes and stays.

The next day, Kim spurns Joe’s attempt to reconcile and spend Christmas together. Surrounded by photos of the ghosts of Christmas past, Kim faces up to a blue Christmas all alone at Home Farm.

Meanwhile, in the village, a public marriage proposal happens.

In the week after Christmas, there’s a threat to life in the village, and as 2025 closes and 2026 begins, danger looms large for more than one character.
