As Verity and Sami start mediations, Diane wants to take things slowly but Edward pushes Tony to speed things up. Tearful, Tony gives Diane the application for divorce and takes off his wedding ring.
When Tony finds a bunch of flowers and a message from ‘the love of his life’ to meet him at The Hutch tomorrow, him and Darren try and guess who it could be, suggesting exes such as Ruth and Julie. But Tony is still holding out hope that it could be the only love of his life, Diane. Later, Tom and Tony share a moment as they talk about love.
Finding a suit hanging up outside the caravan with a note ‘wear me’ from his mystery admirer, Tony decides to cancel the date, but as a motorbike roars into Hollyoaks village, the biker walks across the village and into The Hutch.
Tony turns and stumbles backwards after seeing his old, dead friend Kurt Benson standing in front of him. Despite dying 21 years ago, Kurt is alive and has a lot of explaining to do to shocked Tony, Darren, Mandy and Cindy.
But if Kurt is alive, then who really died in the jet ski accident?
