How long before she realises his true motives?

 14-20 MARCH

It’s Mother’s Day in Albert Square, and as Lauren and Peter prepare to celebrate with the Beales at No.45, Lauren tries to close a sale before lunch. But when the customer asks for a test drive, she refuses.

Spying the interaction, Max supports Lauren, and later bags himself a spot at the Mother’s Day lunch. And Peter organises a surprise for Lauren, but in true Max Branning style, he soon finds himself at loggerheads with his family and leaves.

With Max away, Mark offers Lauren a business proposition with the promise of luxury cars, and Lauren eventually accepts, having been buoyed by the day. But she has no idea of Mark’s true criminal motives.

As she successfully sells one of Mark’s cars, Lauren gets off to a good start, but when Max questions the validity of the paperwork, Lauren insists the cars are legit.

When Lauren encourages Priya in her car sales, the pair bond, but the moment is interrupted by Callum, who informs Lauren that the classic car from her mugging has been found, and a list of high-value cars in the neighbourhood have started to go missing. Following her gut, Lauren goes to confront Mark.

Heading home, Lauren and Peter meet a mum whose baby is also visually impaired to discuss a specialist nursery, but they baulk when they realise the cost. And the pair ask their respective families for money.

EastEnders continues Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One with first look episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer
