After realising that she hasn't felt the baby move in the last five hours, Leela calls the midwife and takes their advice - to wait to see whether anything changes.
When nothing does, she heads to hospital without waking Joel and is put on a fetal heart monitor. With initial results coming back unclear, she is referred to a consultant.
Meanwhile Cleo is left having to fight off Abe who beats her with the bouquet she caught, before trying to diminish the attack on her.
When the hospital try and contact Joel, Peri is also asleep and Ste, who's busy with James, also misses her call.
Meanwhile, Cleo continues to challenge Abe about his abuse, they receiving the call from the hospital, they both go to find Joel.
At the Lomaxes Marie, Peri, Daniel and Ste are unaware of what has happened, whilst upstairs Joel and Leela try to face the day ahead.
Later, Marie gives rational guidance to Joel and as the walls close in on Ste, smuggling money stands in the way of him supporting his sister Leela.
