Mark fights for Lauren as Peter uncovers the truth in EastEnders

But who will Lauren choose?

Lauren tries to act disinterested in Mark but is rattled by his attempts to make her jealous when he flirts with one of Jack’s female colleagues in front of her. But his games are cut short when she takes an interest in one of the stolen cars.

As Peter grows suspicious, Lauren dismisses his concerns until he makes a discovery on her phone.

Meanwhile, Mark admits his feelings for Lauren, but Peter’s arrival interrupts the moment.

When Lauren tries to deflect Peter’s questions, she ultimately admits that she and Mark have been dealing stolen cars. And Max and Cindy arrive, forcing Lauren to tell Max everything, hoping for a fresh start.

Meanwhile, after Max and Cindy clash over Peter and Lauren, Jack gives his brother a pep talk, and after an encounter with Max, Lauren continues to spiral. And when Penny pushes Lauren to be honest about her feelings for Mark, Lauren remains torn.

When Mark learns of Lauren and Peter’s tension, he seeks her out, hopeful. When they meet, Lauren asks him to prove how much she means to him.

Calling to The Vic, Cindy reconciles with Max, but the moment is cut short when Mark arrives and clashes with Max over Lauren.

Later, Mark’s guilt is stirred by Louie, upset by his parents’ situation, and Lauren is surprised when Peter asks to meet and reveals Mark told him the truth. But a commotion across the Square interrupts them.
