Mick and Janine bond in EastEnders as they fight Peter to sponsor the Square's Christmas Tree

Will they get what they want?

As Mick worries about money, Janine - having overheard Peter working on a bid to sponsor the Square’s Christmas tree - suggests that The Vic sponsors the Christmas Tree. He agrees that it's worth a punt.

Approaching Janine and Mick, Peter is furious that they outbid him to sponsor the Christmas tree and as they overhear, Rainie and Stuart are also unhappy that they too have missed out.

Later, Peter pays Janine and Mick a visit to tell them he managed to outbid them and that night, Mick is shocked to see that Janine is armed and ready to take Peter down.

When Mick, Janine, Rainie and Stuart pass a smug Peter admiring the new tree, annoyed at Peter's arrogance, Mick agrees to let Janine do something about it.

The next day, Peter is shocked to see that the tree is missing and confronts Mick and Janine. What will they tell him happened?

And when Janine later opens up to Mick about a memory of her father, he offers her some words of kindness that move her.
