Nicola’s dangerous deal unravels as Eddie arrives with a huge ultimatum in EastEnders

On the day of Ivy’s Ghanaian naming ceremony, Nicola is distracted by her secret meeting with Eddie’s prison officer at No.1. Walking in, Harry is shocked to discover Nicola’s plan.

Realising she’s out of options, Nicola comes clean to George that Eddie moving in is the right thing to do, but she keeps quiet about Eddie’s money. George forbids it, but after Nicola presses, he eventually agrees to Eddie moving into the basement flat.

Soon, George and Nicola find themselves in hot water with their family as Eddie arrives during Ivy’s naming ceremony.

Later, Eddie tells Nicola that she won’t get his money unless he’s allowed to live upstairs with the family in the main house.

Nicola heads to Harry’s Barn to assess her financial predicament, as George is adamant that Eddie must live in the basement.

When Harry arrives, he asks Nicola to renege on her deal after his heart-to-heart with Gina, but Nicola explains they need Eddie’s money to stop the businesses from going under.

Later, Eddie attempts to bond with Nicola, but it’s clear she’s not interested. And when Cindy tries to dissuade George from helping Eddie, he ignores her advice.
