But what will this mean for his compensation claim?
When Gemma confides in Paul that the wedding venue is demanding full payment upfront or the whole thing’s off, Dee-Dee overhears him on the phone to the bank. And when Paul reveals that there’s been no improvement in his hand, Dr Gaddas refers him to a neurologist.
Having taken a call from Dee-Dee asking for a witness statement, Peter visits Paul and orders him to back off and stop using Carla’s mental health problems for his own financial gain. But despite Paul assuring him that’s not the case, Peter accuses him of faking his injuries.
Later, Paul visits the neurologist who tells him that he's being sent for further scans as the problems he’s experiencing are unlikely to have been caused by the accident. And Paul is shocked when Dee-dee tells him that if that does turn out to be the case, he won’t be entitled to compensation.
Meanwhile, when Summer suggests it’s time Paul moved in, will Billy and Paul agree to give their relationship another go?
